Emmanuel Sweeney is the Director and Founder of the Institute since May 2023. His education includes a Bachelor of Laws Degree (T.C.D), Advanced Diploma Immigration and Asylum Law (King's Inn), Diploma Industrial Relations (Trade Union Studies) and Supervisory Management Studies (I.M.I).
His professional experience includes horticultural instructor, landscape and design, garden columnist Sunday Tribune. He also worked in the U.S.A - Bank of Boston Mass. Emmanuel also took part in Irish Folklore Studies U.C.D. Emmanuel was an independent candidate in the European Elections in Dublin.
He has researched the Irish Great Famine for many years and its relationship to global famine today regarding structural causes and solutions.
